iPod Shuffle

We got an iPod shuffle for the little one this weekend. He had not asked for one, but he was looking at my iPod and his music collection is much smaller. He also does not like wearing things on his belt, so the shuffle was a natural choice.

So far I have to admit I am impressed with the sound. The lack of a screen showing what is playing is annoying to me if you have more than 2 songs on the thing, but my son seems to have no issue. He just forwards to the next song and is perfectly happy.

This thing has good sound and reasonable storage. It would be great for podcasts where you are only going to carry a few things at a time and turn them over regularly. I can see it as good for work outs as well. The lack of a hard drive has to make it perfect for running.

I recommend it, but know what you are getting, if you have a 40 gig library of music and want your entire collection available at all times this is not for you.
