XBox Live - Getting you ass handed to you by strangers

I finally tried playing Mech Assault last night on XBox Live. The talking is weird, but the people are the same. Some nice, but most cocky idiots. The only way I could play was to host a game, no one would let a nOOb join.

One other nOOb and an mediocre player joined me and promptly starting padding the mediocre players stats by killing us. I have to admit after seeing multiple on-line communities, EverQuest was much nicer. I only met one idiot there in all the hours I played. I ran right into the idiots on XBox Live.

I am guessing that has something to do with the types of games. EQ is for role players that can only show off their talents by helping others while Mech Assault on XBox Live is just about killing everyone else.
