Sirius Radio is back in the Nerd Cave
After some reading and waiting a while I noticed that people all over the country were having problems with Sirius in areas with Terrestrial Repeaters. Guess what? Looks like Atlanta was one of the areas.
I am glad I gave Sirius a try again. This time, I got a nice Sportster Replay and have enjoyed it.
When I drove into the area that used to fade to nothing I was concerned but the satellite signal dropped to 0 and the Terrestrial jumped to 10. The signal stayed strong and was perfect all the way to work.
I guess it is grow pains as they tried to expand and increase signal strength. I should have given them a chance to fix it, but I had XM and didn't have the patience. I knew I would try again and I have.
Since I have both XM and Sirius I will try to do a comparison of them
in a few more posts.
