Comcast DVR Freezing

My comcast DVR decided to freeze last night in the middle of playback. Had to reboot it. I wonder if this is normal.

The best thing I can say about the problem is that it was up and running in 1 minute rather than the 8 minutes or so it takes for my tivo to recover from a power failure.
