Bose Quiet Comfort 2 Headphones - The headache device.

Let me first say that I love the sound from these headphones. It is awesome. They also fully accomplish the job of noise reduction.

I have to recommend against these headphones because of the noise reduction. For starters you have to have the noise reduction on to get sound. That may not seem like a problem, but for me it is.

Soon after getting these headphones I started getting headaches and nausea. I thought I was just coming down with something. I didn't have any problems for 2 days without using them, then as soon as I put them on again here come the headaches.

I know I am not alone with this, and other noise reduction technologies caused similar problems in the past. I am apparently in the small minority that cannot use this technology.

If you need these or just want them I encourage you to go to a Bose store and try them for a more than a few seconds. Find out if you are one of the people who can't handle this technology.

I find it disheartening that Bose did not mention this possibility on any of their brochures or web site. We shall see how well they take them back.
